I’m 58 and closing in on 59 fast. My wife is 61 and will be 62 soon. I have decisions to make about Social Security, accessing my IRA, and whether or not I should start converting my IRA to a Roth IRA. All of this stuff confuses the shit out of me. When to claim Social Security is one of the biggest headaches but this channel on YouTube clarified a bunch of this information. I started this video at the relevant portion for me and my wife.
My earnings were higher than hers and so my benefit will be significantly larger if I wait until I hit 70. We’re also close enough in age for this example to fit. The rest of the video covers other scenarios.
I subscribed to her channel because she covers a ton of information in a short and enjoyable manner. My only hope is that she doesn’t do too many shorts. I hate YouTube Shorts.
