those 65 and older get an extra $1,700 in 2021 if they’re filing as single or head of household ($1,650 for 2020).

Married filing jointly? If one spouse is 65 or older and the other isn’t, the standard deduction increases by $1,350 ($1,300 for 2020). If both spouses are 65 or older, the increase for 2021 is $2,700 ($2,600 for 2020).
